[ARCHIVED] Quiz attempt automatically submitted at deadline?

I am a student and in a quiz that had multiple attempts, my last attempt was automatically submitted at deadline even though I did not intend on submitting it and did not hit the Submit button (I had already gotten full grade and just wanted to review the questions).

Canvas Team - could you please add a warning message when a student starts a new attempt to let us know that ALL attempts will be automatically submitted at deadline?

Hello @MayssaChehab 

When an instructor sets up a Timed Quiz, this has a timer that displays.

If the quiz was not set up as a Timed Quiz, the deadline would simply be the End Date or Due Date. There is not a warning within the quiz because the Due Date is stated on the Assignment details page where you click "Start Quiz".
