[ARCHIVED] Randomly Selecting Questions from Bank

I am creating a quiz for my students using the new quizzes feature. I have created a question bank and added a new question to the quiz using that question bank. However, whenever I try to change from "Use all questions" to "Randomly select questions" and update the number of questions to randomly select, I get an error bar across the top of the screen that simply says "Failed to update quiz." I have tried creating a different quiz with a different question bank and received the same message. Why can I no longer select a random question form a question bank?

Hello  @bbernal  , and welcome to the Community.  Did you follow the directions in this guide?

How do I add all items or a random set from an item bank to an assessment in New Quizzes?

Some other people were having this problem at the same time you were (April 26-27). The work-around they came up with was to make sure that each question was worth more than one point and then change it back. I do not know if it's still a problem, but here is the link to that thread:Failed to Update Quiz Entry
