[ARCHIVED] Reassign an assignment (Text Entry/File Upload/Media Recording)

An assignment was created that required an Online - Text Entry. There was only 1 attempt allowed. There was one student that submitted the wrong item. How can another attempt be added for just this one student without affecting the other student submissions?

I'm not too sure this is possible, sorry to say.  As you may know, in quizzes, you can give individual students additional attempts if the need arises.  However, assignments don't function the same way as far as I know.  In looking at the comments section at the bottom of this Guide, How do I limit submission attempts for an assignment?, there might be some suggestions from the @InstContentTeam that might meet your needs.
