I use the Canvas Scheduler for office hours in order to reduce the endless email loops of finding a good time.  But it's really hard to set up the appointment groups.  There doesn't seem to be a way to set them up to be recurring?  And it is very hard to remember all the steps and get it set up without making an error. I'd love it if this could be made more instructor-friendly so as to reduce stress for us.  There are so many little details that it is incredibly easy to get it wrong, and then it cannot be edited. You have to start over with a new appointment group.

I agree! Having the option to set-up reoccurring appointments would save a lot of time. Others agree too! A number of Canvas Community members have voted (starred) and have added to the discussion in this Idea Conversation:  Scheduler recurring events I hope you can add your insights, too! 🙂

Note that that other discussion is six years old, and yet there is no actual solution to this, other than to manually add every single date and time block into the scheduler. The reply above seems to be marked as a "solution"; apparently, the solution is for users to yell into the void.
