[ARCHIVED] Seeking advice on creating classroom with text book data

When creating a higher education classroom with use of a text book is there a particular way teachers like to do things? I'm just starting out with CANVAS and looking for some insight from others that are better at doing this. Before you ask, I haven't gotten the job yet, I'm working on it. Have all my papers in order now it is a matter of showing what I can do so they are aware I can use CANVAS. 😃

Feel free to ask questions. I do appreciate your assistance on this. Thanks!
