[ARCHIVED] Self - Registration Not Prompting Students for Passwords

Hi guys, 

I put in a ticket for this but it's taken forever to get back to me and I've had to reset about 50-100 passwords manually today. It's getting old. 

We are a third party offering a course through Canvas and we have teachers across Texas self-register students. The problem is that it's not prompting students who create new accounts for a password. This is becoming a real issue that's snowballing. 

Has anyone else experienced this and what could possibly be going on?
