[ARCHIVED] Self Sign-Up on the App

Is it possible for students to use the Group Self Sign-Up feature from the app? I created the groups and enabled the option for self sign-up, but when they click on the "People" tab, they only see the long list of students, rather than the "Groups" tab. Do they have to use the browser to access this feature, or is there another place for them to go using the app?

Hi @TeachRegele, 

This is a browser-only feature and not available in the Canvas Student app. I would suggest you add a link to the signup page in a Canvas Page and link to it through a Module. The link should open the browser and take the students directly to the signup screen. The link will look something like: https://canvas.school.edu/courses/104330/groups#tab-99054
