Hello,

What is the recommended best-practice for creating a service account for API access? I suppose I could create a user with "+ People" button, set a strong password and then create an API key, but I'd prefer the account is only visible to admins and developers. I'd also like to avoid using my own account, so I can provide the minimum access required for the integration via a separate custom account role. I expect I'm missing something simple.

Hi, Jon. I think you are on the right track. This is how we do ours, though I do not know a way to hide the account from certain roles in Canvas.
