I am an instructor and am trying to show my course organization and materials to a fellow instructor. Is there a way to add him to the course so he can see the modules and files but not see student information such as grades or submitted work?

Hi @csgirl
If you school has not restricted your ability to add users to your course, you could add your colleague as an observer, then they can see content, but not students submissions, grades etc. Learn how at How do I add a user to a course?
If this permission has been restricted, you will need to have your school's Canvas Support Department add the other teacher.
I hope this is helpful,
Kelley

Hi @csgirl
My understanding is that the observer role can be linked to a parent, but it isn't required in order to use that role.
If that observer role doesn't work for your needs, your Canvas admin can create a new unique role and set the permissions as desired.
