[ARCHIVED] Sideways (vertical) text ???

Is there anyway to be able to write text sideways and/or vertically? I know that there are several ways to do this nowadays with html5 and CSS with transform and writing-mode (and text-orientation) but it Canvas lms doesn't seem to allow any of these. Anyone worked with this before or have any ideas?

This is probably part of what gets removed from the RCE once you save due to potential accessibility concerns if they aren't used appropriately.

If you can ensure the transformations are accessible, you could check with your Canvas Admin to see if they would be willing to create a custom CSS class to apply the behavior you want and apply that class to the element in the RCE.
