We have enabled the Microsoft Immersive Reader and it is pretty cool.  The article doesn't mention that depending on how MIR is set up in your instance, users may have to:

1. Go to their user settings page: https://canvas.asu.edu/profile/settings and enable the Microsoft Immersive Reader
   
   
   
2. Then shift-refresh (or clear-cache) and reload the page before the button appears on pages,

If you feel that any of the Canvas Guides here in the Canvas Community are unclear or are missing information that would be helpful to you and to others, you can always submit suggestions so that the Canvas Documentation Team can review your comments and see if anything might need to be updated.  They like getting feedback from us.  For example, if you wanted to make suggestions to this Guide, How do I manage new features in my user account as... - Instructure Community, you can scroll to the bottom of the Guide, and you'll find a link for "share your feedback" below the two red buttons.  This is true for all the Guides and video tutorials found here in the Community.
