[ARCHIVED] Speedgrader incorrectly displaying docx

Currently some of the Word Docs my students are uploading are not displaying correctly in Speedgrader (when I download them they are fine). For example, a grey part of the background is shown as being black in speedgrader, resulting in the text not being visible.

Is this a problem with Speedgrader or the students document?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've not heard of issues like this before.  Have you tried some of the basic troubleshooting steps such as trying a different browser (an up-to-date version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), or clearing your history/cache within your browser?

Beyond these suggestions, you might need to reach out directly to Canvas Support to see if they have any other suggestions for you.

I have this exact same problem. The browser or platform or rebooting does not make a difference. 

Here is a screenshot of a Word document in Speedgrader:

Here is the same document in MS Word:

Having to download the document and open it in Word turns the Speedgrader into Sloooowgrader.

Please help!!!
