Ok, I know I have seen several similar posts on here already and all of the say contact your system admin or something like that, as if that's a solution.
I was trying to help a student reset his password using the password reset on the log in page. Got the message saying reset instructions have been emailed. The reset instructions say's something to the effect of, this is a free for teacher account so the password reset feature is unavailable, contact your system administrator.
So I start looking to try and make my teacher account an admin account since I am the only one using Canvas at my school. After several fruitless searches of posts where the solution is to contact system admin. I find one that says FFT accounts do not have the ability to have admin privilege's.
Is there an actual solution out there or am I SOL for using the FFT?
