[ARCHIVED] Student audio recording

I would like students to be able to record (audio) themselves talking about a picture within an assignment or quiz and then to upload their recording. Now while the recorder within the rich content editor is normally pretty good, it does not allow the student to do the above task as it 'greys out' the picture in the background.  I don't really want students to leave the Canvas environment to do this as they'd lose the picture anyway.  At present I have a free for teacher account so I'm not sure I can use a third party recorder.  Any suggestions for a solution would be much appreciated.  @robcpinder ‌, what a great idea for an assignment! I've changed the format from a question to a discussion to facilitate an open-ended thread. While it's not possible for teachers using Free For Teachers accounts to integrate third-party applications into their Canvas course, teachers can give their students links to and instructions for using free screencasting tools that they can use for the assignments. Screencastify - Screen Video Recorder - Chrome Web Store is one example, but I'm sure our members can suggest other solutions.
