[ARCHIVED] Student auto sign-on

I found the documentation related to SSO but we prefer not to have our application have to act as the IDP for that type of process. Are there other options for students to access the Canvas platform through an auto sign-on link once they have been enrolled in a Canvas course? We have found that functionality for Blackboard and D2L so just wondering if it is available in Canvas.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you can enable course self-enrollment in a course via URL or code. Otherwise, I am not aware of any features that allow users to automatically sign in to Canvas using a URL. You are welcome to share this idea in our Idea Conversation space.
