I see two options here for you for troubleshooting this situation:
- Reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if there are any issues with the enrollments in your course ... to see if that might have any impact on your students not being able to communicate with each other via the Canvas Inbox.
- Reach out to Canvas Support. They would be able to log in to your course and also investigate any potential issues. How do I contact Canvas Support? - Canvas Community
