Why can't students open a link to file I have in my canvas files. It says "access denied- your instructor has been notified of a problem with this link" I also am not sure how or if I was notified.

Hi Tammie,
There are several things this could be:
1. The page isn't published (or you have open/close dates)
2. If you are pointing them to your 'Canvas files', you may not have provided permission to them within your Files.
3. The link is tied to a previous course
Hope your issue can be solved with one of these!
