[ARCHIVED] Students not showing up in Speedgrader

I made two separate quizzes (midterm exams) for my undergradudate students and graduate students. They were both linked to the Assignment "Midterm Exam" in the Gradebook, but have different names and content. When I go to Speedgrader for my undergraduate students, they all show up. When I go to Speedgrader for the graduate student exam, none of the graduate students show up - only the Test Student. The drop down menu does not list an alternate section, etc. for me to select (see attached pic). Please help!

Hi Katherine,

It is not possible in Canvas to link two assignments to the same gradebook entry.  You can however create two assignments with the same name.  I suspect that you have two separate assignments intended for the two groups of students but the grad student assignment is not visible to students, either not published or not in a module.  Does that make sense?

Thanks for your reply. The students have already taken these exams - both the Graduate and Undergraduate exams, so I don't think it's a problem with it not being visible/published. Later last night the problem went away - I could see the students' submission in Speedgrader for the Graduate exam. However, this morning, the same problem is happening for the Undergraduate exam - when I open Speedgrader only the Test Student is listed. Although, I saw the submissions last night.

Hi Katherine,

It looks like there are two user accounts added to the course with your name but different email addresses.  Each account is designated as a TA for different sections of students.  Is it possible that you have been seeing the undergrads when logged into one TA user account and the grad students when using the other?
