[ARCHIVED] Students resubmitting a quiz that only has one attempt.

Greetings!

Not sure I have experienced this...

I have quizzes and examinations which only allow one attempt. This is in addition to other assignments which allow multiple attempts (for practice).

A recent quiz given to over 80 students showed that every student that submitted the quiz took it multiple times, even though only the first was graded.

I double-checked my programming (not allowing multiple attempts), and it appears correct.

Question - from the student view, if a quiz only allows one attempt, how can they open it, fill it out again, and resubmit?

Is there something I am missing?

Hi Greg:

If you have not checked the box in Quiz settings that permits multiple attempts, then your students cannot make multiple attempts, and in more than 8 years, I have never seen this fail.  If you are sure you have not checked that box (seen screenshot below, then I can only suggest submitting a support ticket.
