[ARCHIVED] Submitting the right file type

The file required for my assignment is doc. not .doc or .docx, which is why my submission is not being accepted. Does doc. even exist, if so how do I change my files to that?

Hi,  @tevej  Welcome to the Canvas Community! It looks like the instructor for the course made a typo when they set the assignment up; there is no file extension of which I am aware that has a period at the end of it. Please contact the instructor directly to ask to have it investigated: How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student? is the quickest way to do that.
