[ARCHIVED] Teachers seeing their own class'submissions in a year wide course

We have combined year groups into one course. Essentially staff are collaborating to teach the same learning content.  But, is there a way that one staff member can see their own assigned class(es)'s submissions?

I.e. 

Assign assignment task to all students 

Teacher A marks "class x"

Teacher B marks "classes y and z"

Is this possible? I have looked but we seem to only able to organise by names alphabetically, and not classes.

I believe you're asking the question for sorting in SpeedGrader?  This guide shows that feature How do I sort the student list in SpeedGrader? 

There is a setting for sorting by student group that may be useful.
