Hello,

Moving over to canvas later this year, currently, with blackboard, there is Dynamic Rendering with Template Variables so that URL inside of an Iframe could change per student logged-in eg www.website.com/questions.php?s_id= @X@user.batch_uid@X@ When the student opened the Exam, it would redirect the iframe to something like this: www.website.com/questions.php?s_id=123456 Is there template variable with Canvas?

Hi TJJP,

We were Blackboard clients up until just a few years ago.  Canvas seems much less flexible in customizing the interface (except by inserting CSS and JavaScript in the theme) and as far as a I know, there's not any kind of built-in "template variable" type functionality in Canvas.
