[ARCHIVED] The Option to delete an assignment is greyed out

When trying to delete assignments that has been imported, the delete option is greyed out and not allowing you to delete the assignment.

I just tested this in one of my sandboxes. I imported an assignment for which there were submissions and an assignment with no submissions - both had the delete option available.

Have any students, including the Test Student, submitted to your imported assignment? if so, then the assignment cannot be deleted. You can clear the Test Student's submission if that is the only one, then you will be able to delete it. If actual students have submitted, then you won't be able to delete it.

I had the same issue.  I imported my fall assignments and I could not do anything with them.  I figured this out by accident.  If you re-import the assignments and make sure you select the "remove dates", it will replace the bad one with a good one.
