[ARCHIVED] The road back to the "To Do" list is long and convoluted.

When I'm trying to grade using the "To Do" list, I can access one assignment submission.  Then there's no link back to the "To Do" list. 

To access the next "To Do" item, I have to click the assignment title at the top of the page, which takes me back to the assignment page, then I can click on "Home" and view my "To Do" list again.  This is disconnected, tedious, and it really under-cuts the basic functionality of the "To Do" list.

Also, graded items will not clear from the "To Do" list until I submit them a second time.

My humble suggestion is that the "To Do" list should persist on the page beside all content accessed through that list.  Then it would be truly functional, and teachers could click through the list quickly --thus aiding them in grading and student support.

This may not save you too many mouse clicks, but one suggestion I thought of would be to create a bookmark at the top of your web browser that points to the "Home" page of your Canvas course(s).  When you have finished grading the first "To Do" item, then you could click on that bookmark to take you back to the course "Home" page to access the next "To Do" item.

I see what you mean, though...that it would be nice to have a way to cycle to the next "To Do" item in some way.  Your posting actually sounds like something you might want to consider posting as a Feature Idea here in the Community...so that people can evaluate it.  To create a new Feature Idea, click on the PRODUCT menu from any page here in the Community, and then select IDEA CONVESATIONS.  Then, click on the "Suggest an idea" button.  Here are a few extra Guides which may help:

In the top left corner of SpeedGrader, you will note your course title - see image below, if you click on that it takes you straight back to your course Home page - one click!

The title of my course is HIT 105 01 17543, when I click on that, I am returned to the home page.

@jgerman I used to do a ton of grading so I adopted this workflow: keep the home page open in its own tab, open each to-do link in a new tab to launch Speedgrader, grade the assignment, close Speedgrader, refresh the home page tab: repeat for each assignment that needs grading as necessary.
