I am sorry you and your students faced issues. The factors that contribute to each problem are varied and may be either caused by some drop in submission events, known issues related to grades and submissions, recent releases, or other factors. Thus, each case should be investigated individually both by Canvas and Turnitin.
Please let me know whether you managed to fix the issues described. If you still need assistance, I would recommend raising a ticket with your Canvas administrator and our Turnitin Support Team for them to double-check everything.
