If I unpublish a course to make some changes and then republish it, will it have any affect on the class?

Hi @cbrown13 Welcome to the Canvas Community.

I guess it won't impact the students as far as grades go, BUT it could get very confusing for them.

Perhaps you could create an Announcement explaining that the course is having some changes made please be patient. How do I add an announcement in a course?

Or create a new but temporary Home Page explaining that changes are being made. How do I set a Front Page in a course?
