My students are receiving this when they are trying to access a Quiz: "This assignment is part of an unpublished module and it not available yet."
I have published module and quiz.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi Kayla! I've seen this issue happen with our faculty, and the answer is almost always that the quiz is also in another module that isn't published. For example, I once had an instructor that kept an unpublished module of stuff they needed to edit once the quarter was over, and they added stuff to that that students still needed to access, so it locked them out!
Can you see your quiz in any other modules?
All the best,

I just figured it out! I selected the little button beside Module that has the line through it allowing it to be published. Thank you so much for replying!!
I had the same issue after having published all of the quizzes and all of the modules. The only way to correct it was to publish the entire course, which is unfortunate because then I had to unpublish a bunch of select material. I have encountered bugs in Canvas most semesters that I teach, and I am disappointed that it still behaves in disorienting ways. I'm more disappointed that the burden is on users to troubleshoot. University faculty and staff do not work for Instructure, Inc., however, we are expected to freely donate our time to Instructure by troubleshooting. Today, I spent my much of Saturday tinkering in Canvas instead of being with my family.
Also, the number of CAPTHA's required to post his is unnecessary and a burden.
