I've been using Canvas for several years but I have never had this happen to me before. I'm seeing a black exclamation point in my grade book and when I click on it, I am sent a message that reads "Couldn't find a report for that submission". Does this mean my assignment has not been graded yet, ,or is it saying that there is an issue with my submission?

Hi cshobbs,
Your university uses a similarity detection service to make sure students aren't submitting plagiarized work. From the exclamation point and error you took a screenshot of, it appears that there was an error submitting your assignment to the similarity detection service, so the plagiarism score couldn't be calculated. So there's probably no need to fuss, but you can always reach out to your instructor to make sure things look fine on their end. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!
