I need help about the "Teacher's diary" tool. Is it something where the teacher save notes and ideas about a particular student? Or have the students access to it?

Hi,  @jbarea . I'm not familiar with anything in Canvas called a teacher's diary. Perhaps you are describing the notes column in the gradebook, How do I use the Notes column in the Gradebook? Is it possible this is something separate from Canvas?

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your answer. Perhaps you are right. I use the platform in

Spanish and I translated to English as Teacher's Diary in my message.

When I select an student and access to this "Teacher's Diary", the link

in the browser is something like this:

https://udec.instructure.com/users/XXXX/user_notes

where XXXX is a number associated to the student. If we are talking

about the same, I would like to ask the same question referring to

Teacher o Instructor Notes.

Ah, that is helpful, thank you! I believe in English it is referred to as Faculty Journal. This is a feature some institutions have that allows a teacher to keep notes that are only visible to them and Canvas administrators.
