[ARCHIVED] When students are working on an assignment with a Google Doc, is there a way that you can view their progress?

My students are writing a argument piece and I want to view their progress and leave comments? Is their a way to do this?

 @alda_heller , greetings! Are the students doing it Collaborations in Canvas or regular Google Docs? Either way, the students would need to share/give you access to their document in order for you to view their progress. What I have done with my students is to have the use Collaborations in Canvas and then share their document with me. That way I could go into Collaborations in our course to see how they are doing.
