[ARCHIVED] Why am I not able to delete an assignment?

I want to delete an assignment and upload the correct assignment but it will not delete from the module or from the assignment section.  I need to delete this to upload the correct information.  Please help.

Hi Kristin,

As the instructor of the course you should have permission to both add new and delete old content from the course.  I see that you are using Canvas maintained by your school as opposed to using the free version.  Do you know if your institution has modified the default teacher role permissions?  You might want to check that with them.  Also, have you tried the usual troubleshooting steps such as logging out and back in, clearing your cache, checking that your browser is up to date, etc?
