Hi, when viewing a Canvas course we have designed, it appears differently on phone. It is not as intuitive or visually appealing on phone.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@sae123 Are you using the Canvas app or using the phone's web browser? In either case, this would be expected. Not every feature will work on a phone based on how the phone works (iOS or Android) and the screens are obviously much smaller. For mobile, the course would need to be designed using a "responsive design" meaning certain aspects adjust based on the size of the device being used.
If you search mobile design in this community there are several resources about making your course work well for mobile. Here is also a checklist of things to look for: Mobile App Design | Course Evaluation Checklist - Instructure Community
Hope this helps!
