[ARCHIVED] Why is there no place on my assignment for students to upload?
@seaqwin , greetings! My recommendation is first to double-check your assignment settings - How do I add or edit details in an assignment? - and especially the "Assign to" (should be Everyone) and "Available from" dates. Then check how the assignment looks to yo using the test student view - How do I view a course as a test student using Student View?. If you still can't see the button to upload the assignment, then you can also try to create a new assignment. Otherwise, you would want to contact Canvas Support to see if they can help (click the Help link in Canvas and Report a Problem).

Hello Kona,Thank you for your suggestion, I did create a new assignment, but as in the last one, speed grader shows up, but no place for students to upload their assignment???
@seaqwin , did you make sure and set it up to allow a file upload - How do I create an online assignment? Also, did you "publish" the assignment when you saved it? If so, then did you test it using Student View? If you didn't test it with student view then you wouldn't be able to see the Submit button where they would click to upload their file.
Hello Kona,Thank you for your time. I did check in the student view and I was able to see where students could submit the assignment. I had a student have trouble submitting an assignment yesterday so this is why I have been confused. I didn't have this problem last semester so it was discouraging.Carol
