[ARCHIVED] Why is there no sound on my video?

I'm new to canvas, I just uploaded a video under a discussion. The video plays fine, but it has no sound.. It is not muted in the video, my computer speakers are on and work for other videos I play with other programs... Any ideas on how to fix this?

Within the program that you recorded the video in, look for an "export", or "share" button. My guess is you just missed a step in finalizing the video. 

Canvas will accept the following video files for playback:

• FLV – Flash Video
• 
ASF – Windows Media
• QT – Apple QuickTime
• 
MOV – Apple QuickTime
• 
MPG – Digital Video Format
    
• MPEG – Digital Video Format
• 
AVI – Digital Video Format
• 
M4V – Digital Video Format
    
• WMV – Windows Media
    
• MP4 – Digital Video Format
    
• 3GP – Multimedia Mobile Format

I can;t get back into canva.  This is something that is so new to me.  It was easy to create but when I go back to try to get into canva, I am lost

Canva and Canvas are two completely different things.  Can you please clarify which you are referring to?  This is the Canvas Community website where people come to ask questions about the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System).  Canva is a site to help you with creating banners, images, etc.
