Imported QTI files have metadata included as tags.
How can the teacher view this metadata in the Canvas platform?

The provided response does not answer the question. Acknowledged, one can manually and individually attach keywords, tags and standards to question. However, purchased item banks that can be imported as .QTI files have metadata included that make items within the bank searchable if the user interface allows for it. Otherwise an item bank is not useable. Example: I purchase the Certica item bank from Instructure. The items upload just fine as .QTI files. into New Quizzes. The metadata in the file is not acknowledged/read/processed by new quizzes. Consequently, to find a question on igneous rocks, I would need to scroll through +/- 200000 questions. Why? Is this on the roadmap or are institutions forced to additionally purchase Mastery Connect in order to use the Instructure item banks?

@sagecanvasadmin , if this is important to you, I would suggest adding it  as an Idea Conversation.  The product team already has a huge list of improvements to make over the next couple of years in order to achieve parity with classic quizzes, so it's unlikely that they'll be adding much in the way of new functionality.  But if your idea gets some traction in the community, it may get some love at some point in the future.
