I want to add a screenshot (Mac) into a quiz. I'm using command v to do it. However, I get an error message saying the question is too long. It's a small screenshot. Where am I going wrong? Thanks very much. I hope you are all well.
This is the screenshot:

@joseph_e_lupo Welcome to the Canvas Community! The Rich Content Editor (RCE) does not support copy-paste (CTRL+V) of images, so you'll need to upload it directly by following the instructions in How do I embed images from Canvas into the Rich Content Editor as an instructor? or How do I upload and embed an image in the New Rich Content Editor as an instructor? (if you're using the New RCE).

Hello Stefanie,
I hope you are safe and well where ever you are. When I follow these procedures all I get is a tiny square with a question mark. The file name shows up. I'm using a jpeg file on a Mac. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Joe

@joseph_e_lupo , it's hard to diagnose from a distance why that might be occurring. Since you mentioned that you're using a Mac, it might be an issue with the browser, particularly if you're using Safari; make sure that whatever browser you're using is up to date. If you aren't able to successfully embed an image into the quiz, please ask Canvas Support to have a look (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?).
And same to you, Joe: stay safe, be well.
