Hi, @daniel_canales . I am not exactly sure what they mean by "discounting" but I would start with these two options for adjusting scores on quizzes:
What options can I use to regrade a quiz in a course?
How do I adjust the point value for an entire quiz using fudge points in SpeedGrader?
Let us know if you need further assistance.
Hi adam. Sorry for my english, but professors want to lower score when students answer a question wrong
No worries Daniel! If your professors are creating quizzes in Canvas, then each question is set up with a point value. If students answer the question correctly, they receive those points. If they answer the question incorrectly, they do not receive those points. In this way, the students are already receiving a lower score when they answer a question wrong. I hope this helps!
