[ARCHIVED] empty choices in MC quizzes

I keep getting empty choices for the MC options. I go back to edit, hit the little garbage can to delete the empty ones, update the question, and save. When I go back to review, the blank spaces, and more, reappear. Any suggestions?

Check if your quiz is linked to a Question bank, if so, you need to update in the QB as well. If you only edit it inside the quiz itself, it only works for that time.

Also, clean your browser cache. Some original info resides in the cache for a while.

It's not linked to a question bank. I put new responses in for each option. I also just cleared my cache, which didn't help. I still get between 4-10 empty choices added to every question.

Did you copy and paste the answer choices into the boxes? if so, make sure you use "paste without any format", sometimes Word document contains inherit formatting or HTMLs keeps their <p> tags which can cause problem. Also, super long answers with paragraph does not work well either.
