Is there a way to make smart view in canvas like we used i out Blackboard courses?

Could you please explain what you mean by "smart views"?  That is a term that might not be familiar to everyone here in the Community.  Any extra details from you would be helpful...thanks!

Hi @LianeBisanz 

You can sort and filter the grade book view, but there's nothing in Canvas like the Blackboard customizable "smart views".

Does the change the view for other faculty.  Does it disrupt he view fot other faculty?

No, any sorting, filtering, etc. is strictly for your own view of the grade book.

We had a function in BB tht alowed us to assign groups to our name but did not affect the view of Gradebook for the othe users.  It allowed us to get a quick look at our students progress.
