[ARCHIVED] how do I change my role as a teacher to admin

I have a Canvas account and I have developed several modules but now I need the admin button in the left menu bar and I do not have it so how can I change my lore from a teacher to admin?

Hi @BirgittaWilliam

Only other admins can change your role from teacher to admin. You'll need to contact a Canvas Admin at your institution.

Hi @BirgittaWilliam 

I will add to what @gnoack posted by saying that if you are using the Free-for-Teachers version of Canvas, you will not have Admin functionality available, and will need to contact Canvas support for help.
