Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. I am assuming that you are a student, yes? I think that you will find this Guide particularly helpful: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10668-421254356 Pay close attention to the information in the blue box at the top of the Guide...as your instructor would determine the settings for the assignment whether or not media uploads are allowed or not. Hopefully, your instructor is allowing media uploads. But, if you do not see this option as described in the Guide, you may want to reach out to your instructor to ask if the assignment settings are configured properly. You can contact your instructor by following the instructions in this Guide: How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
