Hi  @ddc1057  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Unless an assignment is no longer available for submissions - the "Available until" date has passed, you can always resubmit an assignment in Canvas.  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9539-421241972 

If you do not see an option to resubmit when you navigate to the assignment, then it is no longer available, and you will need to talk to your teacher about the possibility of resubmitting.
