Hello, I am very new to Canvas and trying to upload an image (my own photo attached) into my course home page.  Please can you tell me how to do this?

This does not answer the question asked. The answer provided shows how to add an image to and assignment, a page, etc. BUT NOT HOW TO ADD AN IMAGE AS A BANNER TO THE COURSE HOME PAGE!

@gmote  In Canvas, banners are simply images that fit across a page. Just insert your image at the top of your page, and you've got a de facto banner.
