Hello @gdifranc Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thank you for posting your question. Probably the easiest way to add a YouTube video to a page of content in your course is to paste in the YouTube URL into the page you are editing, and then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. You'll see the URL change to a rectangular box that shows the YouTube video. You might want to check out the steps in either of these Guides:

Before the new RCE, I could add a link to a (previously uploaded) course video that simply displayed the video file name and small thumbnail. Now, all I can get is a thumbnail.
I have a page that lists several videos, and I need students to be able to identify them, but now all it shows is a bunch of black squares.
It seems the alternative is to type the name of the video on the page, and link it to the video. Unfortunately, following that link simply downloads the video file instead of playing it.
Is it possible to embed a video from course files and display the name of the file?
