I'm importing some images from PowerPoint and I can save them as JPEGs or PNGs. Is one format or the other preferred in Canvas? Thanks.

As far as I know, Canvas has no preferences; or rather, manages both file typed equally.

One consideration for choice might be which format results in a larger file; or more precisely, which file type offers highest quality per size. You can find a great discussion on this and other factors impacting your decision on which image type to use at Image File Formats - Which to Use?
