My son started virtual learning 3 or 4 weeks after school he has zero's or missing assignments in that time can this be fixed or does the teacher need to reassign the work?

The teacher will need to change the assignment due date (if the assignment is closed) for your son to complete the work. Contact them to work out a plan to have work made up.
