[ARCHIVED] narrative comments for grading periods

I would like to be able to leave a narrative comment reflecting on each student's performance during a grading period. There currently doesn't seem to be a way to do this--instead, we can only leave comments in response to specific submissions.

Hi @renee4 

You are correct, there is currently no way to do this in Canvas; or at least no way to create one that persists with the student data in a course.

You could create a new Idea conversation in this community asking for that function.
