[ARCHIVED] no pull down menu for importing course content

I cannot import courses nor course content into my new courses. I have gone through all the steps that I've used for years. There is no pull down menu for choosing previous courses. If I try typing a course name in the search box, it doesn't show me any of my old courses.
I am an instructor, but also an Admin as a department chair. I cannot import from either role.
I have checked that my browser is up to date. I have tried using a PC in addition to my Macbook.

I would first try a different web browser, then a restart of your PC and a couple of web browsers.
If that doesn't fix it, I would check with whomever manages enrollment at your institution. Perhaps they removed users from previous courses. And if they didn't, they should know about the issue and can report it to Instructure.
