My guess is that this is something to do with how your instructor has set up the assignments.
Are you able to reach out to them to ask them to have a look. Perhaps they need to change the assignment settings to enable students to submit.

Hello @ldesantiago3 , @Bobby2 provided some excellent suggestions. If after checking with your instructor and your fellow students are seeing those buttons, you may need to update your browser. Those button now appearing is common with outdated browsers.
