[ARCHIVED] quiz submission notification

When I try to set my notifications, a note comes up that says "Assignment (except quizzes) submission/resubmission." 

I need to know how I can get the system to send me notifications when quizzes are submitted by students.

Unfortunately, that notification is not created yet.  There are notifications for assignments and subscriptions for discussions, but nothing as of yet for quizzes. Sorry!

Do we have a date as to when there might be a solution?  This is a huge thing for my teachers.

Does anyone know why a feature would be provided for some assignment types but not others? This baffles me.
